Lets see, Brian is now going to school at 9:45 each morning and finally riding the bus home in the afternoon. He cant take p.e or band so I wait around to drive him the 30 min to school each day.
He is doing really well now, occasionally he has headaches but so far they are mild and seem to stem from him getting real tired or agitated, sometimes his allergies.
He goes back for a MRI in June to see what the remaining tumor is doing, if anything.
His Dr. told me that IF Brian ever did have to have surgery again it would only be 3 days in and out and would be a lot easier on him than the first time, easy or not we really don't want to do that again.
Brian also gets real mad if you MENTION a headache or ask him if he has one, he tells me that if you ask him, then that's all he thinks about then his head starts hurting, so sometimes when he gets one he won't say a word cause he is afraid. Who would have ever thought my little boy's biggest fear would ever be getting a headache?
Can't say that I blame him though if it was my head and I went through all that I would be terrified of headaches too. I told Brian that I didnt know a person in the world that didnt get a ‘normal' headache every now and then and that really seems to calm him.
I want to thank all of you for coming to his site and showing such an interst in my son and his progress, and I promise I will try to do better about sending updates for you *smiles*
PLEASE keep praying and God Bless all of you for your kindness and caring.
