Tonight at 6 p.m. they released him. He had to have an ultrasound to make sure his kidneys aren’t damaged they aren’t. Dr said that sometimes kids need more time to get off catheters and that his body was trying to catch up with his mind right now, makes sense to me.
He goes back to urologist in 2 weeks to get catheter changed or possibly removed and have another ultrasound done to make sure there is still no damage, then in 4 weeks he goes for another MRI to see if any of the tumor fragments are still there.
STILL no pathology report but the Dr thinks the tumor was benign, so am not real worried anymore.
Brian starts his physical thereapy tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. learning to walk again. He is frustrated that he can’t do all he thinks he should be able to, but knows in time he will be as good as new.
Well thats about it. Am just so happy he is home and that all the bad times are behind us, now we simply start to heal *smiles*
Thank all of you for your prayers and God bless
Always
