BarkislandThis is a free resource site of information about Barkisland, the village I grew up in, which is located outside Halifax, Yorkshire.Some of these are articles from The Village Voice, a village magazine I founded and edited during 1991. Some were written specially for publication then, while others were reprinted with explicit permission. The rest is long out of print material that is presumably in the public domain, if it was ever copyrighted in the first place. Please contact me if you believe I am infringing intellectual property.
