Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic

From Prague, we travelled to the Bohemian city of Ceske Budejovice. The home of (the real!) Budweiser Budvar proved to be a wonderful quaint place full of very friendly people. We were lucky enough to sing a concert in a fantastic Rococo church with excellent acoustics. This was, in my opinion, our very best and most well-received concert. The folks who came were enthusiastic and sincere, and everyone left with a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

We liked this restaurant so much, we ended up eating there two nights in a row!
The slightly butter-fingered but wonderfully sincere waitress made things even more fun.

The lovely church where we sang, viewed from the side (because I just couldn't climb over all those buildings that were in my way).

In the central square of Ceske Budejovice.
Every town and city seemed to have a square and most were very charming.

The lovely Polly and the lovely Maree.
